Yes. Tanning mode builds color gradually with structured rounds and timing for each side, matched to your skin type and the live UV index, so you get a tan without crossing into a burn. You can set your tan target, session time, and the product you are using.

Vitamin D mode estimates the minutes you need at the current UV to reach your daily target, based on your skin type, then reminds you when to seek shade. It is a guide to help you make the most of sunlight and is not medical advice.

With your permission, Sunly uses your device location to pull real-time and forecast UV index data for exactly where you are, then tailors the safe windows and reminders to your skin profile.

When you are in the sun, Sunly times reapplication reminders to your sunscreen and the real UV load, so your protection never quietly wears off. You also get a heads-up when the UV climbs above your threshold.

Yes. With your permission, Sunly writes your time in daylight to Apple Health so it sits alongside the rest of your activity and wellness data. Sunly does not read your other Health data, and you can revoke the connection any time in the Health app.

Yes. Save home, work, or your next holiday destination and check the UV anywhere in the world, which is handy for planning trips and outdoor plans. Unlimited saved locations are part of Sunly Pro.

Location is used only to fetch UV data for your area and tune your reminders. It is not used to identify you, and Sunly works without an account. You can also add locations manually instead of sharing your live location.

Sunly is available for iPhone and Android. On iPhone it requires iOS 17 or later.

Subscriptions are billed through your Apple ID and renew automatically. You can manage or cancel any time in your Apple ID settings. Cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends to avoid the next charge.
